2006 Perhentian Scuba Diving Season Opening

It is a labour of love for us - so it is appropriate to open the 2006's dive season on Valentine's Day - 14th February.  We are excited after many "dry" months for us (monsoon for the island), we are packing up our gears and tons of enthusiasm for a fantastic season ahead. 

Perhentian Island is truly a blessed place - a slice of tropical paradise for the scuba diving enthusiasts and nature worshippers. 

If what the weather experts are predicting, monsoon season is exceptionally short this year, promising an earlier recovery for superb diving at even superb dive sites around Perhentian.

As promised, we have several new stuff for you this season!

Into our third year of operation, Alu Alu Divers is expanding - thanks to firm support from our returning students and fun divers.  We are ever humbled by the unwavering supports received.  Thanks, guys!

This year, staying true to our pledge to support conservation efforts spearheaded  by the Marine Park authorities, we are introducing a special TRY SCUBA @ Marine Park, a brief but informative (and FUN!) introductory to scuba diving to be conducted right in front of Perhentian's own Marine Park HQ.

The aim is not only to get you to taste your first breath underwater, see the lovely marine life BUT also, to truly understand why we are resolute in protecting this fragile ecosystem. 

Our TRY SCUBA is amazingly affordable at only RM88 - of which you will get a free t-shirt, an underwater picture of you (we will email you a jpeg version) AND, most importantly, RM10 of YOUR money goes into the Marine Park Conservation Fund. The money collected will partly fund Marine Park's education, awareness and conservation efforts - it is our aim for Perhentian island to be self-sufficient in fostering conservation activities, hopefully, in the near future. 

Lets make this effort a SUCCESS!

To open up the limitless diving beyond Perhentian shores, we will kick start our DAILY scuba diving and snorkel trips to neighbouring islands of Redang and Lang Tengah at affordable rate.  On board our new customized wooden dive boat - with ample room for storage, deck for sun-bathing, built-in music stereo, fully functioning fresh water shower and deliciously cooked meals on board, it is a full day affair not to be missed!  Contact us for more details at divemasters@alualudivers.com
